We traveled quite a bit when the boys were young and that was when baby-proofing was new and parents were completely responsible for doing the job. We managed and our kids survived, but it was not easy sometimes. It’s important to go into a vacation knowing what you have to adjust and manage with littles. Enjoy your travels!

The baby proofing sweep is a great idea! Whenever my 2 year old niece comes over I plan in advance and try to make sure all is safe, but she always finds something!

This is helpful for me as an owner of a vacation rental. I do not baby proof my rental and that is really because it is my own vacation home that I rent out when I am not using it – so I am thinking I should list it as you have said others have listed it “not suitable for babies”
