as a mother you’ll always care – even when they are having their own kids. and yes we know first hand how hard it is with allergies and sensitive skin. that’s one of the reasons we do very detailed research now on everything.

….I remember being a “know it all” teenager myself not so long ago. but now I am a mother and I keep telling my own mom – thank you I wish I’ve listened to you more 🙂 Hope your kids come to this realization sooner :)))))

I know right! by some reason you’d only go shopping for sunscreen when going overseas to a beach destination. but some of the other places including at ski resorts are pretty bad when it comes to sun exposure!

I am somewhat mixed and have a darker skintone with good tolerance towards sun, but my little one inherited my husband’s fair skin and blue eyes…. so this post came out of great necessity 🙂

oh I am seeing those everywhere! if you did sign-up for our Top Secret Library access, you would have seen the full list of brands we’ve investigated. SPOILER ALERT: the most famous brand Banana Boat is heading our top worst list… their lotion stuff is toxic enough, it is hard to imagine what goes into their sprays….. but kids are consistently burned.

same here… we only got to really researching our products after Cosmos was born. Kids DO make us all better 🙂

the scary part is that most supermarkets sell only toxic chemical stuff. it is soooo hard to find natural product outside Amazon..

Great information! Those sprays scared me years ago when I noticed they would remove nail polish and eat through the top layer of a driver’s license. eek!

….After we’ve done our research we went to the local Walmart to see what’s available on the shelves, and we were horrified! most of the shelves were filled with the two of the brands that received our worst rating + there were few more we had in the “yellow category” – all of them said baby-friendly, but contained hard chemicals and toxic stuff. I am so glad we’ve done our research and are now ordering from Amazon
