Places to Travel in Canada

Canada family travel destination

Canada is one of the best family travel destinations and has much to offer to anyone who travels with kids. We know this ‘cuz we live in Canada for 14 years already, and we still haven’t run out of amazing places to travel to within this country! So I get it that if your family only visits Canada for a brief vacation – it must be really hard to choose things to do and places to see!

Whatever ticks you… whether you want to climb mountains, drive through never-ending plains, hike PNW rainforest, have all-you-can-eat lobster, watch jaw-dropping auroras, dance at buzzing cultural festivals – go to Canada and you’ll have it all.

Canada has 10 provinces and three territories, each of them unique, with its special flavour and a variety of cool things to do.

Provinces of Canada:  Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, New Foundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.

Canadian Territories: Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon.

.

Alberta

The Province of Alberta is known for Canada’s signature Rocky Mountains and is home to the two most famous Canadian National Parks – Jasper and Banff. Alberta is a real heaven for any outdoor enthusiast: it offers incredible scenery, easy access to mountains, numerous glaciers, easy hiking trails to explore with kids, and many other cool things to do.

British Columbia

Beautiful British Columbia is the place we now call home. We are in love. We can not get enough of it. If you only have a brief vacation to visit Canada, British Columbia must be at the top of your bucket list.
