It is home to BC Province’s capital Victoria, and to the “surfing capital of Canada” – Tofino.
For convenient purposes, on our blog, we’ll use “Vancouver Island” to refer to all regional districts geographically located on Vancouver Island + a few scattered islands such as Quadra and Cortez Islands.
